Flat hair: how to get volume?

If girls with thick hair often tend to want to smooth them, for girls with fine hair, it's another pair of sleeves. Indeed, the fine hair tends to be flat without any outfit which does not allow to vary the hairstyles. Fragile also, they need products adapted to their nature to protect the hair fiber. So, how to have volume XXL? Follow our advice.

Choosing the right products

Shampoos, mousses, styling sprays, masks ... there is a multitude of treatments on the market for fine hair formulated from products that do not weigh down the hair (without silicone for example). Result: the hair is more flexible, more bulky and easy to comb. However, it is advisable to use the full range because a shampoo alone will be of no use.

Clear the roots during washing

Fine hair tends to be flat from root to tip. The ideal is to give volume to the roots and this starts with the wash. When rinsing, try to clear your roots by lifting them between your fingers and finish with a jet of cold water that will boost the microcirculation in the scalp.

Dry hair upside down

This is a miracle solution for hair raplaplas. Indeed, the heat diffused by the hair dryer will swell the hair on the sides as well as the roots on the top of the skull but it is advised however to end with cold air on the roots. You can also use a large round brush or heated rollers to lift the hair which will create volume.

The crepe

The crepe is to comb the locks at the root of the hair in the opposite direction of the shoot. If it can quickly give volume, it can also damage the hair. Some precautions should be taken before starting the crepe: it is necessary that your hair is completely dry and carefully brushed to avoid having knots. Also use a crepe comb (with narrow teeth) and gently brush your hair by repeating a maximum of 3 to 5 times per wick until you reach the desired volume.

An adapted cut

To gain volume, nothing beats a slightly degraded cut that will give movement to your hair and break their uniformity without weighing down the roots. This cut also allows to lighten the locks without removing the material and impoverish the hair.
